The relief sought in the above Writ Petition is a direction to the Respondent no. 2-Scheduled Tribe Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee ('STCCSC' for short), Nandurbar to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner within a particular time. The Petitioner is working as a Mechanic with the Respondent no. 3 appointed as such in a post meant for the reserved category.

2 905.8620.18 wp.doc It seems that the Petitioner's tribe claim is pending adjudication before the STCCSC since the year 2003. We therefore deem it appropriate to direct STCCSC to hear and decide the Petitioner's tribe claim latest by 31/03/2019 by giving proper opportunity to the petitioner. The Petitioner to appear before the Respondent no. 2 on 15/11/2018. The Respondent no. 2 thereafter to adjudicate upon the Petitioner's tribe claim within the outer limited fixed by this Court by the instant order. Until the Petitioner's tribe claim is decided, no coercive steps be taken against the Petitioner. With the directions as aforesaid, the above Writ Petition is disposed of.
