This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing an appeal against conviction wherein the appellant is convicted for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer R.I. for 10 years and fine of Rs. 25,000/-, in default, R.I. for 2 years by an Additional Sessions Judge, Mangaon-Raigad in Sessions Case No. 31 of 2016 vide judgment and order dated 5th December 2018. There is a delay of 80 days in filing an application. For the reasons assigned in paragraph no. 4 the applicant seeking condonation of delay, deserves to be allowed. varsha
