The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the authorities to forthwith take cognizance in respect of the complaint made by the Petitioner vide letter dated 29th June, 2017..
In the event the police authorities fail to take cognizance, the Petitioner can very well take recourse to the remedy for filing the complaint either under Section 200 or 156 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as has been held by the Hon'ble Aswale 1/2
28.wp.2536.17.doc Supreme Court in the case of Sakiri Vasu v/s State of Uttar Pradesh and Others reported in (2008) 1 SCC (Cri) 440. The Petition is rejected relegating the Petitioner to avail the alternate remedy available in law.
