This petition challenges the order dtd. 12th May, 2014 passed by the Government of Maharashtra, granting permission to close down the industrial establishment at M/s Ghodawat Industries (India) Pvt. Ltd., (Mosquito coil Unit), Plot No. 611, Post Chipri (Via- Jaysingpur), District Kolhapur. The permission for closure was sought on the ground that the company was suffering heavy losses. The losses claimed for the year 2012-2013 were of Rs.10,23,562.39 and upto 31st January, 2014 were of Rs.37,28,659.37. The government considered the material produced by the respondent and

Dusane 2/2 WP7529.2014 granted permission to close down the business. There is no dispute that the members of the petitioner-Union have received various dues as provided, including the retrenchment compensation. In that circumstances, there cannot be any challenge to the order of closure by the petitioner. Hence, there is no substance in the petition. The petition is dismissed.
