The application is filed for quashing the proceedings of the chapter case. The learned APP tenders a report dated 15th June, 2017 of the Senior Police Inspector, Gorai Police Station, Mumbai along with a copy of the report dated 28th April, 2017, of the Special Executive Magistrate, Borivali Division. The report shows that the proceedings of the chapter case against the applicant are dropped in view of the passage of time. The said report is taken on record. 3.

In the light of the above report, the petition is rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such.
