The learned counsel for the Applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the Application with a request to expedite the trial. It is pointed out that the Applicant is arrested on 20 September 2017 and till today even the charge is not framed. 2.

In such circumstances, the Criminal Application is disposed of, as withdrawn. The trial is expedited. The learned Sessions Judge shall proceed to hold the trial as expeditiously as possible and an endeavour shall be made to conclude the trial within a period of one year from the receipt hereof. The parties to cooperate for the time bound disposal of the case.
