The learned counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent No. 4, on instructions, makes a statement that Petitioner has been granted admission in Respondent No. 4 - College for the third year diploma in civil engineering. This Court has already passed an ad-interim order in terms of prayer clause (b) on 6th July, 2017. 2.

Considering the fact that the Petitioner's application for 1 / 2

WP. 7508-17 grant of caste validity certificate is pending since 30th January, 2016, being a student matter, we are inclined to direct the concerned Respondent Committee to decide the application of the Petitioner, as early as possible, preferably within a period of four months. It is made clear that rights and entitlements of the Petitioner will be subject to the final adjudication, of her caste claim, by the concerned Respondent Committee. Respondents to take consequential action pursuant to this order. No order as to costs. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of in the aforesaid terms with liberty to apply.
