3] The petitioner claims that his father was working on the post of Clerk with respondent No.2 Corporation. He died in harness on 12th September 2016. The petitioner had filed an application on 4th January 2017 seeking appointment on compassionate ground. Dinesh Sherla 1/2

2 p-509-wp-8338-17.sxw 4] The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of about 6 months, the application has not been considered and decided by the competent authority of respondent No.2. 5] Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 submits that the petitioner's application will be considered and appropriate decision will be taken in accordance with law by the competent authority of respondent No.2, as expeditiously as possible. 6] In view of aforesaid, we dispose of this petition by directing the competent authority of respondent No.2 to consider and take appropriate decision on the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment, in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
