At the outset, Mr. Chavan, learned counsel for the Petitioner having taken instructions from his client makes a statement that the Petitioner would be satisfied if the Chief Officer of Sangli Zilla Parishad is directed to consider his complaint dated 24th January 2017. Statement accepted.

Since the Petitioner is seeking innocuous relief, we deem it convenient to dispose of this writ petition by directing Respondent No.3-Chief Officer of Sangli Zilla Parishad to pass appropriate orders on the Petitioner's said complaint, [copy of which is annexed at page 41 to the petition], as expeditiously as possible and preferably within the period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and the Chief Officer shall consider the said complaint of Petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law. 4.
In order to enable the Chief Officer to comply with this order, the Petitioner shall remain present before the Chief Officer of Sangli Zilla Parishad on 30th July 2018 at 11.00 a.m. alongwith a copy of this order and with a copy of the said complaint.
