After arrest of the applicant on 1st December, 2019, the applicant is seeking regular bail in Crime No. 645 of 2019, registered with Kandivali Police Station, for the offence punishable under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8 and 12 of POCSO Act. The applicant is charge-sheeted.

The allegations against the applicant are that of sexual harassment, which is punishable with six years. The applicant is already

Dusane 2/2 27 BA 1523.20.doc inside the jail for almost more than 20 months. As such, a case for grant of bail is made out. Hence, the application is allowed on following conditions :

O R D E R

i) The applicant be released on bail in Crime No. 645 of 2019, registered with Kandivali Police Station, for the offence punishable under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8 and 12 of POCSO Act, on his executing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/-/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

ii) Till the trial is concluded, the applicant shall remain outside jurisdiction of the concerned Police Station. iii) The applicant shall not influence the prosecution witnesses or tamper with the evidence or shall not contact the victim or her family members.

iv) The applicant shall inform his latest place of residence and mobile contact number to the Investigation Officer, within one week from his release.
