This is an application for intervention by a witness in C.R. No. I-31/2016 registered with Tulinj Police Station, Nala Sopara, District Thane.

The applicant claims that he is the owner of the land in question involved in the present crime and, therefore, he may be heard. The record reveals that the FIR is lodged by the In-chargeAssistant Commissioner, Vasai-Virar Nagar Parishad. The applicant is not the complainant. The applicant can submit his statement to the police, if he so desires. The applicant does not have any locus standi to intervene in the matter. The application is accordingly rejected.
