Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent Nos.2 to 5. The learned counsel state that the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Local Body Tax Amnesty Scheme, 2015 is still applicable. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner will make an application for availing the benefit of the said Amnesty Scheme. In view of this statement, we direct that in the event the application is made by the Petitioner in the prescribed format before the prescribed date for grant of benefits under the said Amnesty

wp-6736.15.doc Scheme, the second Respondent Corporation shall accept such application and shall take action on the said application in accordance with law.

In view of the above directions, the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the Petition. Accordingly, we dispose of the Petition in terms of the above directions. All contentions of the parties on merits are kept open. (REVATI MOHITE DERE, J.) (A.S. OKA, J.)
