P.C.:- By the present Application, the Applicant is seeking directions to the Passport Authority to issue a new passport. The learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that, the passport of the Applicant will be expiring on 21st August 2018 and as the Applicant is an accused in the present crime i.e. CR No.II-26 of 2015 registered with Turbhe MIDC Police Station, Mumbai, is seeking leave of this Court for making an Application in that behalf. As the passport of the Applicant is likely to expire in near 1/2

ssm 2 39-appp744.18.sxw future, the Applicant is permitted to file an Application for its renewal with the Passport Authority. The Passport Authority shall consider the Application of the Applicant on its own merits and as per the prevailing rules and regulations.
