The petitioner employee is Deputy Manager in the New India Assurance Co. Ltd. i.e. respondent No.1. Petitioner has approached to this court and prayed for quashing and setting aside the charge sheet dated 31st July 2015, and his grievance is that the inquiry proceeding could not have been initiated against him. Petition is instituted in the month of June 2016 and is listed today for admission. The learned counsel appearing for respondent submitted that, in pursuance of the inquiry conducted by the inquiry officer, he has submitted his report. In furtherance of the principles of natural justice the copy of report was served to the petitioner, to which he respondent No.1 has replied this culminated into imposition of penalty by order dated 04-11-2016. Considering the above submission the relief sought in prayer 1/2
