In view of our directions in the judgment in writ petition No.5995 of 2016 along with other connected petitions, as decided today, Mr.Joshi learned counsel for the respondentMSETCL makes a statement that as per directions as contained in the said

Rng 2 judgment, the respondent-MSETCL shall make payment of the amount equivalent to the salary and allowances for the period 13 June 2016 till date. In view of the statement of Mr.Joshi, Mr.Talekar and Mr.Tayade learned counsel for the petitioner seek leave to withdraw the contempt petitions.
