Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned AGP for the State.

An affidavit of Shri Nitin Kareer, Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department, Government of Maharashtra as well as an affidavit of Shri Subhash Dharmadhikari, Additional Collector & Competent Authority, Pune are taken on record. Though belatedly, a decision has been taken on the representation made by the petitioners. The decision is dated 12th December, 2014. Both Shri Nitin Kareer and Shri Subhash Dharmadhikari have tendered an unconditional apology to this Court for the delay in complying with the directions issued on 11th January, 2012. We accept the apology

The notice issued on 4th August, 2014 is accordingly discharged. Contempt petition is disposed of. We make it clear that it will be open for the petitioners to challenge the order dated 12th December, 2014 in accordance with law.
