In the facts and circumstances of the present case, it is not necessary to issue notice to respondent No.2. 3.

By this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners are seeking direction against respondent No.1 to decide their application under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents, Senior Citizens Act, 2007 which was filed on 29th January, 2021 as early as possible.

Considering the statement made by the learned Counsel for the petitioners and provisions of the aforesaid Act, we are satisfied that the petitioners have made out a case for allowing the present petition.

In view of this fact, following order is passed; : O R D E R :

(a) Respondent No.1 to decide the petitioners' application bearing No.518/5681 dated 29th January, 2021 under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents, Senior Citizens Act, 2007 after hearing all the parties as early as possible, but, in any case, on or before 25th November, 2021 and communicate the decision in writing to the petitioners immediately;

(b) All contentions of the parties are kept open; (c) Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly; (d) No order as to costs.
