DATE : 2nd DECEMBER, 2019 P.C.:- Criminal Application No. 1213 of 2018 is the second application for bail pending the fnal hearing of the Criminal Appeal No.648 of 2016. First application for bail was rejected on merits and thereafter the applicant had approached the Apex Court. Though he was granted six 3/4

months temporary bail, the Apex Court has not granted bail.

The Criminal Application No.1213 of 2018 for bail is fled on the ground that there is a change in circumstance as the applicant is in custody since more than 10 years.

Having regard to the fact that the period for which the applicant is in custody, we are inclined to fx the Criminal Appeal No.648 of 2016 for fnal hearing. Registry is accordingly directed to place the Criminal Appeal No. 648 of 2016 for fnal hearing in the week commencing from 20th January, 2020 along with connected matters.

In the light of the above, Mr. Ponda, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant states that at this stage he does not press the Criminal Application No. 1213 of 2018 for bail.
