Heard. By this petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the Petitioner challenges the order dated 22.02.2021 passed by Respondent No.2 in Revision Application NO.189/2020 to the extent of rejecting the stay application made by the Petitioner challenging the order dated 17.08.2020 passed under section 22(2) of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act 1960.

When this court declined to entertain the Writ Petition, the learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the Writ Petition. He submits that in the interest of justice, this Hon'ble Court be pleased to Basavraj G. Patil 1/2

20.4811.21-wp.odt direct the Divisional Joint Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Mumbai Division, Mumbai to hear the Revision Application No.189/2020 filed by them under section 154 of the said Act, as early as possible. The learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the advocate on record has given in writing that they want to withdraw the Writ Petition, unconditionally. Same is taken on record and marked "X" for identification.

Hence, following order is passed:

a.

The Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.

b.

Hearing of Revision Application No.189/2020 is expedited.

c.

No order as to costs.
