The learned Counsel for the parties would tender Consent Terms dated 21 August 2023. The Consent Terms are signed by Appellant and Respondent as well as their learned Counsels. Both Appellant and Respondent are personally present in the Court and admit execution of the Consent Terms as well as contents therein. The Consent Terms are taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. katkam 1/2
k 2/2 6 ao 174.21 as.doc As per the Consent Terms the Appellant-husband has agreed to deposit the amount of Rs.11,00,000/- in this Court on or before 31 December 2023. The statement is accepted as an undertaking to this Court. Registry to accept the amount/installments as per the Consent Terms. Once the amount is deposited in this Court, the Respondent-wife shall be entitled to withdraw the same alongwith accrued interest. Since the parties have already settled their dispute, learned Counsel for the parties agree that the present Appeal as well as all the proceedings pending before the Trial Court can be disposed of. Trial Court to pass a formal order disposing of the proceedings pending before it. Appeals and Interim Applications are accordingly disposed of in view of Consent Terms, which shall form part of this order.
