The Petitioner has challenged the rejection of his application to be released on parole (Covid-19 Emergency). The Petition was filed on 4 July 2021. The learned APP states that policy/ decision of releasing the inmates on parole (Covid-19 Emergency) has been discontinued since May 2022.

In light thereof, the Writ Petition is disposed of. 4.
