This petition is filed only with a prayer for expediting the trial in C.C.No.60/SW/2012 within a period of three to six months.

The Respondent Nos.1 to 11 are facing that trial for commission of offence punishable under section 427 r/w. 34 of the I.P.C. The complaint is pending since 2012. Thus, more than 10 years have passed. The complainant is a senior citizen and as of today he is 67 years of age. Therefore, the prayer made by the Petitioner in this petition is quite reasonable. The accused cannot have any objection if the trial is expedited. It is in their interest
9-wp-3145-19 also that the matter is put to end at the earliest either way. 3.
Therefore, the Metropolitan Magistrate, 72nd Court, Vikhroli, Mumbai is directed to complete the trial in C.C.No.60/SW/2012 within a period of one year or earlier, from today.

Both the parties shall co-operate with early disposal of the trial.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
