On 22nd February, 2024, we passed the following order; "1.

In view of the grievance made by the learned A.P.P., learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner will attend the East Region Cyber Police Station, Crime Branch, Mumbai, on or before 28th February, 2024, for the purpose of inquiry. Statement accepted. 2.

Learned A.P.P. submits that the petitioner is not Wakodikar 1/2

31. WP 3731-2022.doc an accused, and as such, the police do not intend to take any coercive steps against the petitioner. Statement accepted."

Learned APP informs that the petitioner has not appeared before the concerned Police and as such, the statement made by the learned APP stands withdrawn.

At this stage, learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions of the petitioner, seeks leave to withdraw the petition. 4.

The petition is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn. 5.

We make it clear that we have not heard the petition on merits.
