Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State.

This matter is through jail.

This is an application for bail by the applicantArvindkumar Shriramavadh Harijan in connection with C.R. No.I-146 of 2018 dated 25/03/2018 registered with Narpoli Police Station for the offence punishable under Sections 307, 326, 323, 504 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter "the IPC", for short) 4.
Mr. Vivek B. Rane, learned counsel appeared on behalf of the applicant and submitted that the applicant was 1/3
arrested on 25/03/2018 and now in custody for more than 4 years and 10 months.

My attention is invited to the order dated 17/07/2018 passed by the trial Court while granting bail to the coaccused. The role of the applicant and the co-accused is similar.

Considering that the accusations is under Section 307 of the IPC and the applicant is in custody for more than 4 years and 10 months, even the present applicant can be released on bail at this juncture as the trial will take long time to conclude.

Hence, the following order :-
ORDER
(a) Application is allowed.
(b) Applicant-Arvindkumar Shriramavadh Harijan shall be released on bail in connection with C.R. No.I146 of 2018 dated 25/03/2018 registered with Narpoli Police Station, on his furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.15,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.
(c) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make 2/3
any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Officer. The applicant shall not tamper with evidence.
(d) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station once in a month on every Monday of the first week between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.
(e) On being released on bail, the applicant shall furnish his contact number and residential address to the Investigating Officer and shall keep him updated, in case there is any change.
(f) The applicant shall not leave India without the previous permission of the trial Court.

The Bail Application is disposed of.

Let this order be communicated to the applicant through the jail authorities.
