Heard the rival arguments on the application for bail during pencency of the appeal. The applicant is convicted for the offence under sections 7 and 8 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and sentenced to suffer RI for six months. He is also convicted for the offence u/s 13 (1)(d), 13 (2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act and sentenced to suffer R.I. for one year. Reportedly, during the trial, the applicant / appellant was on bail. Even after conviction the accused/applicant was released on bail, till filing of the appeal. As such the present appellant/applicant be released on same bail, as granted by the trial Court, with fresh bonds to be executed before the trial Court.

Application is accordingly disposed of.
