Heard Dr. Warunjikar, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners.

The impugned order in the present petition is order dated 31st March 2023 passed by the District Collector, Kolhapur, by which interim stay was granted to the No Confidence Motion. However, Dr. Warunjikar states that by subsequent order dated 22nd August 2023, the District Collector, Kolhapur has held that the said No Confidence Motion is in accordance with Section 35 of Maharashtra Village

32 WP 8759.23.doc Panchayat Act, 1958 and upheld the same. Therefore, he states that the petition has become infructuous. 3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
