The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Union of India has brought to our notice an order dated 28th March, 2016 passed by the State of Maharashtra. The order indicates that the State has refused to grant promotion to the Petitioner after the department enquiry was concluded. 2.

In view of this order passed by the State Government, this petition

does not survive and it is accordingly disposed of by reserving the right of the Petitioner to challenge the said order before the appropriate Forum. All contentions of the Petitioner are kept open.
