This is a second bail application by the same applicant. He had earlier approached this court for his release on bail vide Criminal Bail Application No. 566 of 2019. The same was rejected on 14/06/2019 by a reasoned order.

Today, only change in circumstance pleaded by the learned counsel for the applicant is that there is no progress in the trial. She has not addressed the court on the merits of the matter. 3.

901-ba-2618-21.odt court has already commenced the trial and it is only because of some application made by the co-accused for transfer of the case, the trial could not be completed. Learned APP states that the trial is now transferred to another court and there is no impediment in progress of the trial.

On this statement, the learned counsel for the applicant does not press this application, but her only request is that, considering the fact that the applicant is in jail since past more than four years, the trial be expedited and some time bound schedule be given. The request is reasonable. The trial court is requested to complete the trial within a period of four months from today.

The learned counsel for the applicant has not pressed this application on merits. The Application is disposed of accordingly.
