The interim protection in the matter is operating since 21st September, 2016. In the wake of above background, the continuation of interim protection is sought for a period of 2 weeks with a prayer for withdrawal of the application. 3).

The bail application is dismissed as withdrawn. However, it is clarified that the interim protection ordered by this Court on 21st September, 2016 is continued for a period of two weeks in the wake of statement made by the learned Counsel for the applicant, that the applicant shall thereafter immediately surrender.
