Heard learned counsel Mr. Rishi Bhuta for the Applicant in both the applications and learned APP Mr. More for the State.

The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under section 279 of the Indian Penal Code. His appeal has been dismissed. He has filed a revision application Borey 1/2

spb/ 903appr277-278-15.doc in which the learned additional public prosecutor has prayed for time to take instructions.

In view of the above, it is directed that the applicant be released on bail in sum of Rs. 15,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount or a cash deposit of Rs.15,000/- in lieu of surety.

Substantive sentence imposed on the applicant shall remain suspended during the period of bail. Both the applications stand disposed of in the above terms.
