Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners, the learned AGP for Respondent Nos.1 to 4 and the learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos.1A(i) to 1A(iv). We have perused the affidavit of Shri Amrut Malkari Natekar, the Deputy Collector (Resettlement), Kolhapur dated 5th March, 2014. It is stated in the said affidavit that as far as the first petitioner is concerned, he was called upon to submit documents as specified in letter dated 27th August, 2012. It is stated that as the first Petitioner has not produced the documents, his application has been kept pending. The affidavit states

wp-6907.12 that as far as second and third Petitioners are concerned, the applications have been rejected by communications dated 20th February, 2014 which are annexed to the affidavit.

Therefore, if the second and third Petitioners are aggrieved by the orders rejecting their application, they will have to adopt appropriate remedy in accordance with law. As far as the first Petitioner is concerned, if he complies with the request set out in the letter dated 27th August, 2012, his application shall be decided within a period of two months from the date on which compliance is made by the first Petitioner.

In view of what is observed above, prayer clause (a) cannot be entertained in this Petition.
