This is an application for bail filed by the applicant in connection with CR No.173 of 2017 registered with Dongri Police Station, Mumbai for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 324, 223, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code..

At the outset, the learned Advocate appearing for the applicant submits that the applicant may be permitted to withdraw this application. It is submitted that taking into consideration the fact that Vina k 1/2

sr.9.ba.1531.2018 the applicant is in custody from 10th August, 2017, trial may be expedited.

The learned APP on instruction from the officer who is present in the Court submitted that charge has been framed in this case and the prosecution proposes to examine about eight witnesses. 4.

In this circumstance, since the trail has began, it is expected that the trial Court would proceed with the trial expeditiously and would conclude the same within six months from today. 5.
