By judgment and order dated 9th December, 2016 passed by the Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Khed in Sessions Case No. 4 of 2010, the applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 302 Indian Penal Code and sentenced to life

* 2/3 * imprisonment. Being aggrieved thereby, the petitioner preferred Criminal Appeal No. 623 of 2017.

The prayer in this application is that, an Advocate be appointed from the Legal Aid Panel to represent the applicant in the Appeal. In view of the prayer made, we appoint Advocate Mr. Prosper D'souza who is on the panel of the Advocates of the High Court Legal Services Committee to represent the applicant in this Appeal.
