DATED : 24TH AUGUST, 2016 P.C. :- This PIL is filed by the petitioner seeking various directions from this Court directing the State Government, Union of India and local Corporations to ensure that the Kumbh Mela, held every 12 years, takes place in a proper manner. So far as the present Kumbh Mela is concerned, it is almost over and all the arrangements have been made by the State Government. The petition, therefore, has become infructuous.
