Not on board. In view of urgency, taken on board. 2] Challenging the demand notice dated 31st January 2017 (Exhibit-F) issued by respondent No.3- Collector, Pune, the petitioner has filed this petition.

3] According to the petitioner, in the said demand notice the amount has been claimed for the period during which the petitioner was not having any valid licence.

4] We find that this point has to be made clear at the first instance by the petitioner before respondent No.3 Collector. It is clear Dinesh Sherla 1/2

2 518-wp-7696-17.sxw that the petitioner has not approached before the Collector raising the aforesaid grievance. In the circumstances, we dispose of this petition with liberty to the petitioner to submit a detailed representation with supporting documents before the Collector, Pune. In case, the petitioner submits such representation within two weeks from today, the same shall be considered and appropriate decision shall be taken by the third respondent - Collector, Pune as expeditiously as possible and preferably within three months from the date of receipt of such representation. While deciding of the said representation, the respondent No.3 - Collector shall pass a speaking order. 5] With aforesaid liberty and directions, the petition is disposed of.
