The grievance of the petitioner is that his caste validity claim has been referred by the respondent no. 2 before respondent no. 3 Committee vide letter dated 16.12.2004 Exh. A but till date the respondent no.3 Committee has not decided the petitioner's caste validity claim.

Having regard to the aforesaid, we are inclined to dispose of this petition by directing respondent no.3 Committee to decide the petitioner's caste validity claim, if not already decided, as expeditiously as possible but in any case not latter than four months from the date of appearance of the petitioner before the Committee. Petitioner to appear before the respondent no.3 Committee on 23/8/2017 at 11.00 a.m. In so far as prayer clause

hvn 26-wp-6948.2015 (a) is concerned, we have not expressed any view on it and it will be open for the petitioner to raise the grounds about this prayer if occasion so arises, after and in case the Committee decides in favour of the petitioner.
