This Contempt Petition is filed alleging the breach of the order dated 28 April 2023 passed in Writ Petition No. 5765 of 2023. 2.
The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that in spite of commitment that the Revision Application would be decided in a time bound manner, the same has not been done. On 1 September 2023, the following order was passed :
" The learned AGP seeks time. The Under Secretary, State of Maharashtra, Co-operation Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai had informed to the AGP by a communication dated 25 April 2023 that the revision would be decided within one month. Copy of this order and the order dated 28 April 2023 be shown to the Under
Trupti 2 20-cp-321-2023.doc Secretary, Maharashtra Government, Cooperation Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai before we proceed to take cognizance of the grievance of the Petitioner that there is a breach of the order dated 28 April 2023.
2. Stand over to 20 September 2023".

Thereafter, on 20 September 2023, we were informed that the date of hearing is fixed on 25 September 2023. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that hearing was given on 25 September 2023 and written statements have been directed to be filed. It is, therefore, clear that hearing of the Revision Application has began. Therefore, we are not inclined to proceed further in a contempt jurisdiction. Expecting that the decision would be rendered within reasonable period, the Contempt Petition is accordingly disposed of. (MANJUSHA DESHPANDE, J.) (NITIN JAMDAR, J.)
