2] Rule was issued in this petition on 22 August 2000. Thereafter, there is a noting dated 18 August 2009 to the effect that court's service notice was issued to petitioner nos.1 to 4 but the same was returned unserved with the bailiff's remark 'expired'. Similarly, notices issued to respondent nos. 5, 6 and 7 were also returned unserved with the bailiff's remark 'expired'. Again, on 2 February 2015 the identical noting has been made. 3] The matter was taken up for hearing on 3 February 2015, on which date, no lawyers appeared either for the petitioners or the respondents. The matter was stood over to 2 March 2015. However, 1/2

skc 901-wp-4190-00 the matter has come up for final hearing today. 4] Even today, the same position continues, except that Mr. Rayrikar, the learned AGP appears for respondent nos. 1, 2, 9 and 10.

5] In view of the aforesaid, there is no option, other than to dismiss this petition for non prosecution. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed for non prosecution. The interim relief stands vacated. (M. S. SONAK, J.) Chandka 2/2
