This is an application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of Cr.P.C..

The applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No. 62 of 2020 registered with Powai Police Station for the ofences punishable under Section 324 of I.P.C. and Section 75 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000. 3.

The case of the prosecution is that on 25.1.2020, the applicant caused injury to his own daughter, who is aged about 7 years, as she lied to him.

Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the respondent - State.

It appears that the victim was discharged on a very same day. Considering the nature of the allegations and as custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary, I am inclined to released him on anticipatory bail. In the result, following order is passed.

a.

Anticipatory Bail Application is allowed.

b.

In the event of arrest of the applicant in Crime No. 62 of 2020 registered by Powai Police Station for the ofences punishable under Section 324 of I.P.C. and Section 75 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000, he shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.15,000/- with one surety in the like amount. c.

Needless to mention that the applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses.
