P.C.:- 1) Husband and in-laws of Respondent No.2 have filed present Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for quashing of R.C.C. No.282 of 2020 pending on the file of J.M.F.C., Ulhasnagar, District Thane, arising out of C.R. No.0187 of 2019 dated 13th May, 2019 registered with Ulhasnagar Police Station, District Thane under Sections 498A, 406, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, with consent of Respondent No.2.

2) Learned Advocate for the Respondent No.2 tendered across the bar her Affidavit dated 2nd August, 2023, duly affirmed before a Notary Public. It is stated therein that, she and Petitioner No.1 have settled their 1/2

ssm 2 44-wp2659.23.doc disputes amicably due to the intervention of the respective members of their society and have approached before the C.J.S.D., Kalyan for divorce by mutual consent. In paragraph No.11 thereof, she has given her 'no objection' for allowing the present Petition. Respondent No.2 is personally present in the Court and through her Advocate reiterates the contents of her Affidavit dated 2nd August, 2023 and her 'no objection' for quashing of the crime in question. 3) In view of the above, Petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (b).
