IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION CRIMINAL WRIT PETITION NO.2687 OF 2014 Manoj Kalidas Pawar ... Petitioner Vs.
The State of Maharashtra and Anr.
... Respondents Mr. Satyavrat Joshi for the Petitioner.
Mr. K.V. Saste, APP for the Respondent No.1.
CORAM : A.S. OKA & ANUJA PRABHUDESSAI, JJ.
DATE : 14th MARCH, 2017 P.C.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that after filing of the Petition, the petitioner has not contacted him to give instructions. The learned APP states that he has received telephonic instructions that charge sheet has been filed. However, he is not sure whether charge sheet has been filed against the petitioner. As the petitioner has not instructed his Advocate from the year 2014, obviously, he is not interested in prosecuting the Petition. If charge sheet has been filed against the petitioner, he has a remedy available under statute. Hence, the Petition is disposed of. All contentions raised by the petitioner are kept open.
