1] Heard learned counsel for parties.

2] Learned counsel for the applicant submits that at present his limited prayer is to release the applicant on temporary bail on account of marriage of his daughter on 3rd January, 2021. He submits that liberty may be granted to move for regular bail after the temporary bail period is over.

(21)BA-1648-20.doc 3] The applicant in support of his prayer has placed on record wedding card. It is not the case of prosecution that applicant will abscond if released on temporary bail. Considering these facts and circumstances and as there are no other criminal antecedents following order is passed :

a] Application is partly allowed.

b] Applicant be released on temporary bail till 9th January, 2021 in C.R.No.I-572/2020 registered by Naya Nagar Police station for the offences punishable under Section 429 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 5(c), 9(a), 9 of Maharashtra Animal Preservation Act, on furnishing PR Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one surety in the like amount.

c] The Bail shall be furnished before the concerned Judicial Magistrate.

d] After expiry of the period of temporary bail, applicant shall surrender before the concerned authorities.

e] Liberty is granted to the applicant to move for regular bail after his surrender.
