Learned Counsel appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, states that in view of a communication issued by the State Government, the Municipal Corporation will have to decide the application dated 19th April, 2010, in accordance with law.

In view of the said statement, we need not keep the petition pending and the same is disposed of by passing the following order :-

ORDER

i) We direct the first respondent - Municipal Corporation to take appropriate decision on the application dated 19th April, 2010, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within a period of four months from today ; ii) All contentions on merits are kept open.
