Mr. Sawant, the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners placed on record the communication dated 16th July, 2016 from the Director, Board of Colleges & University Development, Shivaji University, Kolhapur to the Director, Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. Same is taken on record and marked 'x' for identification. The letter discloses that the Petitioners have complied the requisite compliance. By this letter the Shivaji University, Kolhapur authorities have requested the Director of Directorate of Technical Education to neglect their recommendation made under letter dated Megha 1/2

10_wp_8126_2016.doc 18th June, 2016 and in view of the compliance report submitted by the Petitioner college to consider the Petitioner for the allotment of students to the first year of Bachelor Courses in Engineering as mentioned in the letter.

Mr. Kakde, the learned A.G.P., having taken instructions states that necessary action would be taken in pursuant of this letter. 3.

In view of the above, Mr. Sawant, the learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioners' grievance no more survives. 4.

The petition accordingly stands disposed of.
