The short grievance of the Petitioner in petition is that its proposal dated 30 August 2014 for approval of Shri Mahesh A. Patil is not even accepted by Respondent No.2-Education Officer. The learned counsel for Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is a minority institution and the ban on recruitment of Shri Patil by Government Resolution dated 2 May 2012 is not applicable.

2/2 wp.8204-2016 This Court by Order dated 4 May 2016 in Writ Petition No.5440 of 2016, disposed of the said petition by directing Respondent No.2-Education Officer, Sangli to consider the proposal for appointment of one Santosh Metri. In that view of the matter, the Petitioner's proposal referred above could not have been refused by Respondent No.2. We therefore disposed of the present petition by following Order: (i) Petitioner is at liberty to submit the said proposal dated 30 August 2014 for approval of Shri Mahesh A. Patil to Respondent No.2 afresh within two weeks from today: (ii) In the event such proposal is submitted by Petitioner, Respondent No.2 shall decide the same on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within four weeks from the date of receipt of such proposal in the light of observations made hereinabove;

(iii) The parties shall act upon a copy of this order duly authenticated by the Registry of this Court.
