Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

This petition is for limited relief to the extent of expediting the hearing of the criminal case no. 97/PW/2009 pending in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate, 27th Court, Mulund. The charge-sheet has been filed in the year 2009. I am informed that only one witness has been examined so far. Obviously, the progress is not satisfactory.

The learned Magistrate is, therefore, directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of six Borey 1/2
