The Petitioner claims to have been appointed as Junior Clerk on 18th March 2020. The proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the Petitioner as Junior Clerk is rejected on the basis of the GR dated 4th May 2020. The Petitioner claims that application was given for filling of posts on 10th January 2020. No response was received and, thereafter, advertisement was given on 18th March 2020. 2.

If the appointment is made on 18th March 2020 then GR dated 4th May 2020 would not apply.

In the light of that, impugned order is quashed and set aside.

The Education Officer shall reconsider the application for approval to the appointment of the Petitioner as Junior Clerk afresh and same shall be decided expeditiously preferably within six months. 5.
