After the judgment and order was dictated, the learned senior counsel appearing for the Petitioner on instructions of the Petitioner seeks permission to unconditionally withdraw the Petition. He, however, states that more than one Muslim member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa can be appointed as the members of the State Wakf Board and the Petitioner wants to prosecute his remedies for appointing him as a Member of the State Wakf Board along with the Fifth Respondent.

The Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. We, however, make it clear that the same will not preclude the Petitioner from seeking an appointment as a member of the State Wakf Board in accordance with law.
