I had requested Ms. Tanvi Sawant to appear on behalf of the applicant as the application is filed through jail. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State.

This is an application for bail in respect of the offence punishable under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code (hereafter 'IPC' for short), registered vide First Information Report (FIR) No.70/2020 with Azad Maidan Police Station.

My attention is invited to the order dated June 20, 2022 passed by the Sessions Court in respect of the co1/4

accused-Vipul Vasant Parakh thereby releasing the applicant-Vipul on bail. The present applicant is the accused no.4. There are in all six accused. Five of the co-accused are released on bail. The allegation against the applicant is that he aided the main accused Advocate Ranade in typing the forged order. The role assigned to the applicant is that he typed that order.

The applicant is not the beneficiary. In fact, the coaccused Mrs. Jayashree Vasant Parakh who is the beneficiary from the alleged offence, has been released on bail by an order dated November 25, 2021 passed by this Court in Criminal Bail Application No.3119/2021. As the main accused has been released on bail and as even other accused are released on bail, the applicant can be released on bail.

The applicant is in custody since March 24, 2020, for more than two years and ten months. There are no criminal antecedents reported against the applicant. The investigation is complete. The charge-sheet has been filed. Hence the following order.

O R D E R

(a) The application is allowed.

(b) The applicant-Yogesh Ghanshyam Purandare in connection with FIR No.70/2020 with Azad Maidan Police Station, shall be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.10,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(c) The applicant be released on provisional cash bail of Rs.10,000/- for a period of six weeks from today.

(d) The applicant shall report to the Investigating Ofocer of the concerned police station once in a month on every first Monday of the month between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.

(e) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Ofocer. The applicant shall not tamper with evidence.

(f) On being released on bail, the applicant shall furnish his contact number and residential address to the Investigating Ofocer and shall keep him updated, in case there is any change. 7.

The application is disposed of.
