This is an application for extension of time to furnish surety by period of four weeks. The applicant was granted bail pending the Appeal vide order dated 05/05/2022. Vide Clause (iii) of the operative part he was permitted to furnish cash bail in the sum of Rs.20,000/- for a period of eight weeks in lieu of surety. That period is over. Till today the surety as directed in Clause (ii) is not yet furnished. The applicant was directed to be released on bail on executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.20000/- with one or Digitally signed by VINOD BHASKAR GOKHALE Date:

This application is preferred for extension of time to furnish the surety. It is mentioned in paragraph Nos.3 and 4 that, he tried hard to find the surety, but because of his mother' s ill health he was unable to furnish the surety in time. 3.

Considering his grounds, time to furnish surety can be extended. Learned counsel for the applicant states that the applicant has now been able to procure surety and formalities will be completed shortly.

In view of this statement and for the reasons mentioned in paragraph Nos.3 and 4 of the application, the application is allowed. Time to furnish surety is extended by period of four weeks.

The application is disposed of.
